Troy A. SanduskyMarion, IL Troy A. Sandusky, 77, of Marion, IL died at 5:56 p. m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Herrin Hospital. Mr. Sandusky was born on October 5, 1935 in Bessie, IL the son of Holly and Pearl (Wilson) Sandusky. He married the former MaryAnn (Martell) Michaels on April 16, 1984 and she survives. Troy was a retired mechanic from General Foods in Kankakee, IL. He was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Surviving relatives include his wife, MaryAnn Sandusky, Marion, IL, one son, Lee Greenwald and one daughter, Lois Greenwald, one step-son, Herbert R. Michaels, III, Buffalo, NY, one step-daughter, Cynthia L. Doby, Bloomsburg, PA, four step-grandchildren, Ashley L. Michaels, Jennifer L. Balser, Jason M. Doby, Luke A. Doby, three step-great-grandchildren, a cousin, Merrial Rose, Benton, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Sandusky was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Roy and brother, Charles. Troys wishes were to be cremated.
