Trudy L. Brown-Dixon, 77, of Benton, passed away at 11:55 p.m., on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Benton Health Care Center in Benton, surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 19, 1945. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed watching television, especially the news and Court TV.

Trudy is survived by her two daughters, Diana Morgan and husband, Dwight, of Aurora, CO and Sheri Garascia and husband, David, of Sesser, IL; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Hall, Brooke Jones, Joshua Schwartz, Cady Anderson, Stephanie Schwartz, Eden Shurtz, Caleb Garascia and Hannah Garascia and seven great-grandchildren, Gracie Hall, Caroline Hagler, Lilly Shurtz, Henry Hagler, Samantha Aderson, Theodore Ragsdale and Evan Garascia.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Dewitt and her great-granddaughter, Melanie Hagler.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Trudy's wishes, cremation will take place.
