Victor M. Romani, 64, of Sesser, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on January 25, 1956, to Humbert and Vera (Olson) Romani in Chicago Heights, IL. On November 29, 1991, he married Patricia "Trish" A. Romani in Seminole, FL, and she preceded him in death. Victor and his wife moved to Southern Illinois in 1997, and loved the changing of the seasons and especially looked forward to winter. He loved the rural setting of the area and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Benton, IL. Victor loved his faith. In 2007, Trish and Victor renewed their vows and were married at St. Josephs Catholic Church.

Victor is survived by his six children, Christopher Romani, Tina Romani, Jonathan Romani, Jennifer Lloyd, Victor Romani, II and Stephanie Romani; one brother, Darren Romani; and two sisters, Annette Easter and Teresa Hammond.

He was preceded in death by Father, Humbert Romani, Mother, Vera Romani, Wife, Patricia "Trish" Romani, brother, Christopher Romani, and sister, Lisa Romani-Sisney.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

A memorial mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Benton, IL.

Memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
