Warren D. Goeske, 79, of Sesser, passed away at 2:48 p.m., on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in the Franklin Hospital ER in Benton, IL.

He was born on July 26, 1943, to Edward and Ruth (Motor) Goeske in Waukegan, IL. On August 17, 1968, he married Sharon Marsh and she survives.

He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Warren was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling and camping. He had a knack for fixing anything but especially loved building furniture.

Warren is survived by his loving spouse of 54 years, Sharon; his son, David Goeske, and his wife Tina; his daughter, Beth King, and her husband, Michael; his five grandchildren and his sister, Bonnie Krapf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Goeske.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Warren's wishes, cremation will take place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God in Sesser, IL and will be accepted at the funeral home.
