William "Bill" H. Schwarze, 80, of Benton, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital, Mount Vernon, IL.

He was born on July 11, 1944, to Richard and Sophie (Wojcik) Schwarze in Chicago, IL. On June 13, 1975 he married Beverly Dillon.

William "Bill" is survived by his loving spouse of 50 years Beverly J. Schwarze, and a brother, Richard A. Schwarze.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, Benton, IL.

Per Bill's wishes cremation took place.

Services will be Private.
